This is a momentous occasion in the blogging world. It is, indeed, my very first blog.It is a happy day. It has been full of weird and wonderful activities, such as:
- Psychoanalysing Dr Karl Kennedy – this man is anal, phallic and oral. He has also learnt his randy ways through Operant Conditioning. He is actually a very messed up man, ’specially as his recent attempts at hypnotherapy are actually a sublimation for his desire to kill his father and put him to sleep, due to his incestuous love for his Mother. You’ve gotta love Freud. Well, I s’pose you haven’t.
- Watching a video of women obsessed with shopping. They were all old and ugly though, it was really bad! This one woman spent £450 on a scary, furry hat! And £600 on some sunglasses that are about £2 in Primark. it’s madness, I tell you, madness!
- Getting attacked by swans. After buying some sandwiches, we went to sit by the fountains. they weren’t actually switched on, because the river’s flooded. So, we sat about 2 feet away from the very brown, very high river. And then the swans came. They started coming towards us, and just didn’t stop. They literally just came at us! We got up and moved, thinking they’d wander off, but they didn’t, so we had to grab all our stuff. But then! Lottie’s bag was on the floor being pecked by the swans! She had to run and get it…it was really scary!
- Driving lesson. I only failed once today, an improvement on last week’s 4 fails. My test is being booked as we speak/type/read! Excitamondo! It amused me greatly when me and the instructor sat watching someone else doing a 3-point tuirn on their test, pointing out everything he did wrong. According to the instructor, the poor lad had just failed.
- Facebook. I joined yesterday…day before? Anyway, i am getting mildly obsessed, although it alarms me slightly how much it shares with people. Seriously, it’s like whatever you do gets announced on the mini-Feed things. But how far does it go? I mean, do people know if you search for other people? If who’s profiles you look at? I mean, how far does it go?
- Making bunting. Firstly, I love Innocent Smoothies. Like, loads. Far too much. I’m slightly obsessed with their blog. So, anyway. They’re having a village fete in london (how cool?!) and are trying to make the world’s longest bunting, asking for people to send some in to join on. So I’ve made some, as seen in the photoo. I’m a bit pround! I must admit, I didn’t actually sew it all. One side’s sewn, the other two are PVA-ed. Works just as well, so it seems. I did embroider my name in the corner though! Because I am that proud of it! Now I just have to work out how to send it off…
Well, anyway. That was my exciting day, that isn’t actually over yet. Hopefully, this blog will be continued, with more exciting entries on the way!
Au revoir!
xx

The Bunting.
